How are these numbers calculated?
The trading day runs from 5:00 PM New York time to 5:00 PM the following day — matching the forex market open/close cycle. “Today” resets at that boundary, not midnight UTC.
The monthly P&L accumulates from the 5:00 PM ET reset on the last calendar day of the prior month. It reflects all closed trades since that point, including swap costs and broker commissions.
Trade count is the number of closed position exits on the current trading day. Gold scalping strategies may close hundreds of positions in a single session — count alone is not a signal of risk or direction.
Numbers update every 5 minutes via a direct push from the MT5 terminal. If the terminal is offline (weekend, broker maintenance), the last known snapshot remains visible with a “last updated” timestamp.
